Flowers are popping open everywhere! The front garden beds look beautiful from the road- I hope everyone detouring around the Black Diamond closure is slowing down to enjoy them! Some days the garden gives you exactly what you need.

An hour outside, a pair of snips, and a bucket slowly filling with flowers you’ve been waiting months to see bloom.

I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of watching a handful of stems become a bouquet.

This week’s favorites:

🌿 Silvery foliage to tie it all together

The best part? Tomorrow the garden will look completely different.

I fly frequently for my day job, and on today’s flight I had the pleasure of having Ciscoe (Gardening with Ciscoe) as my seat neighbor! We chatted all things dahlias and gardening- but I froze when he asked my favorite variety! I don’t have one! I love so many different ones! Anyone else struggle with choosing just one?!
