Summer is kicking off to be so lovely and sweet 🌼

Thank you to every single family who came out to play and run around in the daisies with me this year. These sessions are truly some of my most favorite of the entire year and this season did not disappoint one single bit ✨

There is something so wildly magical about these little wildflowers blooming right here on the studio property every summer. They show up, they take your breath away, and just like that they are gone again 🌼

A little heads up for anyone who missed out this year and wants to plan ahead. Daisy Mini Sessions always happen during the first few weeks of June and that is it for the season. Mother Nature calls the shots and once they are gone they are gone until next summer.

Keep an eye out in the spring for announcements and get on my list early because these spots go fast 🤍

The small things that mean more than you will ever know 🤍

Running a small business as a solo newborn and family photographer here in Albany County is so much more than just showing up and taking beautiful photos. It is hours of editing, culling galleries, answering emails, staying educated on safety, and constantly pouring everything I have into every single session.

And then a client does one of these small things and it fills my cup right back up to the top.

Sharing my page with a pregnant friend. Leaving a Google review. Telling everyone at their baby shower about me. Tagging me in their posts and accepting a collaboration. These things cost nothing but they mean absolutely everything to a small business owner 🤍

If you have ever done any of these things for me please know that I see it, I feel it, and I am so deeply grateful for every single one of you.

If you are expecting a little boy and dreaming of soft, timeless, neutral newborn portraits with mom and dad then this gallery is everything you need to see.

There is something so incredibly intimate about parent and baby images during a newborn session. The way a mama holds her brand new boy like he is the most precious thing she has ever touched. The way dad looks at him with that quiet overwhelming awe that words could never quite capture.

Soft neutrals will always be my favorite palette for these kinds of images. Nothing distracts from the connection. Nothing competes with the love. Just warmth, softness, and the most beautiful beginning 🤍

As this month comes to a close I am sitting here reflecting on what an absolutely wild and beautiful ride it has been 💜
9 newborn sessions in one month. NINE. While also managing some pretty serious back issues that this job most definitely did not help 😅
Newborn photography is truly no joke. The bending, the crouching, the slow careful movements for hours at a time. My body is tired and I am very much ready for a long nap 😂
But then I look at images like this one and every single ache is worth it 🤍
This little peanut came into my Albany County studio sporting my absolute favorite color for baby girls and she was absolutely perfect from start to finish. Purple will always have my whole heart 💜
Nine families trusted me with their most precious people this month and that is something I will never ever take for granted. Thank you from the bottom of my tired little heart 😂🤍
