For some of you out there, it may be just a Monday. But for us working the rally, it is in full swing and fully cooking. Where else could you see so much amazing live music. First this morning getting QUIET RIOT set up with some Marshall stacks, Ampeg fridges, and Gretsch Drums with Zildjian Company. Then we bopped over to Sturgis Buffalo Chip to outfit P.O.D. - Payable On Death with some MESA/Boogie, DW Drums, and more ampeg fridges. And that’s just two places and two groups. So regardless, get some live music in your life. And sleep is overrated.

The name of the game is Prep Prep Perp. When an artist is happy and we are not on stage. We are back at the shop working...

Well, it is time to pull back the curtain and show what we have been working on. We’re excited to officially announce the expansion of the Dakota Backline family with the launch of our sister company, Wyoming Backline, serving Cheyenne and the surrounding region!

Leading Wyoming Backline is Aric Hageman, a name that’s well known throughout Wyoming’s music community. Aric holds music degrees from the University of Wyoming and Kansas State University and has spent over 20 years as a band director and music teacher in the state of Wyoming. He currently serves as the Assistant Band Director at East High School in Cheyenne, is a guitar instructor, an accomplished percussionist, and regularly performs with a variety of local bands & musical projects.

Aric’s passion for music education, and the live event industry makes him the perfect person to lead this next chapter.

For Dakota Backline, this network expansion is a natural step forward. Wyoming Backline allows us to better serve artists, festivals, venues, tour productions, schools, and special events throughout Wyoming while continuing to provide the same quality equipment and customer service Dakota Backline has become known for.

We are incredibly excited about what the future holds and can’t wait to support even more events across the region.
