“Our wedding day was honestly magical. We got married on March 14, 2025, in Downtown Concord, NC, a spot that’s really special to us—we love spending time there, so it just felt right to celebrate such a big day in a place that means so much. The venue, The Hotel Concord, was absolutely perfect. It was built in the 1920s, so it tied in perfectly with our Old Hollywood/1920s theme. The space had these gorgeous high ceilings and big windows that let in so much natural light. With our colors of pink and ivory, everything came together so beautifully and felt soft, romantic, and elegant without being over the top. Before the ceremony, we took photos at The Sela Loft, a beautiful studio right in downtown Concord. It was such a calm, pretty space and made for some of my favorite photos of the day. Speaking of photos—our photographer was absolutely perfect. She got every shot we wanted and made everyone feel super comfortable. Nothing felt too posed or awkward—it honestly felt like having a friend there with us the whole time. We’re completely obsessed with how the photos turned out! For the ceremony, we had an amazing violinist and pianist from Deans’ Duets, and they played Disney songs that made everything feel even more magical and personal. It was such a sweet touch that really meant a lot to us. Later, DJ Deangelo from Split Second Sound kept the energy up during cocktail hour and the reception—he brought such a fun vibe and had everyone on the dance floor. One thing I’m so happy we did was hire a content creator to capture the behind-the-scenes moments throughout the day. They got all the little details and memories I might’ve missed in the moment—and now I get to relive it all. I honestly felt like a princess. We were surrounded by our closest family and friends, and the love and support in the room was so real.
