Is anyone else sometimes a little frustrated they’re not further along with their business or life goals? I admit I’m guilty. I was talking to a friend the other day and she was so bummed saying she feels she's not where she's supposed to be in life for her age. (I mean who dictates where we are supposed to be? Everyone's life is different. Different experiences, different support, different resources, different environments.) I find it always helps to remind myself that there’s no set schedule for growing! As long as I’m learning, doing my best, being authentic and moving forward I’m exactly where I’m meant to be. Do you have this issue and what do you remind yourself of to dismiss the thought?

Play a game with me! If you got to play hooky from work all day today, what would you do with your 24 hours of freedom? Would you A) Spend time doing absolutely nothing and having no guilt about it (what I'd like to do) B) set up a nice date with your friends to spend quality time (don't worry about the details, let me set everything up for you 😉) or C) Catch up on some chores around the house (blah)? Life is too short to not spend time with the people you love most… Do you agree? The most important people in my life are my babies, and I’d do anything to spend as much time with them as I can. That’s one of the reasons why I quit my 9-5 and started GGV. Before it was all a hamster wheel. Wake up, rushed mornings, heavy traffic, drop offs, work, heavy traffic, pick up, home, eat, shower, homework, bed, repeat. There was no time for quality conversations, impromptu movie nights, spontaneous amusement park days and belly laughs at the dinner table as we talked about our day... owning a business allows me to have full ownership of my time and be fully present with my girls. Yes it has it's challenges, yes it's a rollercoaster. But the instability and waves of entrepreneurship is a privilege I’ll never take for granted. Im getting pretty good at riding them. Who do you want to spend more time with in your life?

Who out there wishes life came with its own ‘easy’ button?! Personally, I would love one for becoming multiple people at once (things would get done so much quicker and I wouldn't be as tired😂)! Fortunately, booking a luxury picnic and stylist is like tapping an ‘easy’ button on your next event. I always love making new friends, so I figured I’d (re)introduce myself! My name is Ani (Ah-Knee), and I’m a Luxury Picnic & event stylist from California. I started my business because I love being in beautiful surroundings with good friends, laughs, food and drinks. About 5 months ago I quit my desk job to pursue my dream full time, and I haven’t looked back since! A little known fact about me is I have a full garden in my backyard with chickens, a rooster, and ducks. I'm currently looking for a miniature goat ( I think I'm really supposed to be a farmer😂).
