Our favorite local Italian winery released a brand new bled called Lucia and it very good, hence the 2 bottles we took home in our Wine club picks along with other favorites including one called Godfather that lives up to its name. We love the staff (even photographed the manager’s beautiful wedding last year). Its at the Old Sugar Mill if you are looking for a good tasting or a bottle or two- oh and we have a few of these glasses at home 😋

Favorite review in 125 weddings. Such a beautiful family at a difficult moment in time. I couldn’t ask for payment after hearing her story (seriously, who could??) although she tried to slip me money in my camera case before being caught. Some of the photos were used a few day later for his memorial service- she’s getting married in Florida otherwise I would have loved to be there on her wedding day. When other photographers question why I do weddings since they can be stressful and wild and a lot of faith is put on you for a once in a lifetime event. I always says I really don’t do it for the money. I do it to buy camera gear without guilt, and to go on some vacations with my wife for putting up with working weekends on top of my day job, but most of all for the chance to part of memories like this. and daughters ❤️

So 4 years in Best of Weddings on the Knot - 6 on Wedding Wire- and they give you a cool badge for their hall of fame- but really what is better, a badge or the chance to take photos in the mountains of California of amazing couples?? It really is no contest - when a couple loves their photos and they repost them on anniversaries and Valentines Day and birthdays for years after I took them - it kind of gives me that feeling that I did something good that meant something - with all that- we don’t need no stinking badges- unless it convinces the next couple to let me take their photos 😆
