When I started out as a wedding videographer, I felt a pressure to post every wedding immediately. In hindsight I came to realize that this was all about me. Couples don’t care if you post their wedding - what they care about is their memories being captured in a way that fits them. After a few years in the wedding industry it became clear to me what separates the average videographer/photographer from the elite - the elite care only about the couple. It is not about our portfolio or how many likes or views a video gets. It’s not even about our creativity! It is 100% about capturing the couple’s wedding day in a way that fits them and who they are as people.

To say Kristen and Ben's wedding celebration was long-awaited would be an understatement - they sent out THREE different save the dates!! The girls started off the day getting ready at The Ivey's Hotel before heading off to Marshall Park for photos. The ceremony and reception were held at The Terrace at Cedar Hill which has a gorgeous view of Charlotte! Friends and family were ready to celebrate after years of waiting! I am excited to put together Kristen and Ben's wedding day - until then enjoy their teaser!

Susan and Drew had yard games out for guests to play as they arrived before the ceremony.. they were a huge hit!

2021 and 2022 forced many couples to opt for smaller scale weddings in private homes. We have loved being a part of these days where couples get to spend so much extra time with their closest family and friends!

Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Nick Dezern, and I am the owner of Carolina Wedding Films. I am passionate about putting together stories that are unique to each couple and full of personality!

Your wedding day will be one of the greatest days of your lives, full of countless moments, both big and small. I know from experience that the day goes by in a flash, and like most memories, as time goes on it is impossible to relive them. This is why I am passionate about telling the story of your wedding day. After years of filming weddings, I have learned to anticipate moments and to look for the subtle details that make your wedding day uniquely yours.

I go far beyond just documenting your wedding day. With each film, I create a story that is personal to you and your relationship. I am looking for couples who are passionate about having their story told, and that put an emphasis on the heartfelt words spoken on their day. Details and venues are beautiful, and of course I enjoy showing them off, but what makes a wedding day so special is that all of the important people in your life are in one place to celebrate your love and your journey. That is a story worth telling!

With your commitment to the process, we can work together to tell your wedding day story in a way that brings out your personalities. In the end, you will have a wedding video that allows you to relive your day and feel the emotions of your day all over again!
