Dear Mom,

I remember our Mother-Son dance. We did “Watchin’ Scotty Grow” and you lost it. I think we’re lucky the photographer caught you in one moment that you weren’t sobbing in my arms.

It’s been ten years since you went home to Jesus, and some days are still harder than others. Yesterday, the Mother-Son dance was “Humble and Kind,” a really sweet Tim McGraw song that I can always hear in your voice. It makes me think of you every time, and I got glassy-eyed for a moment.

I wish you could see the things God has done for me and for this company. But it’s because of you that I know how to love through service in the first place.

Thank you, Mom. Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms who teach us love through their life.

I love this picture for a number of reasons:

a. It’s at which I love!

b. It’s the best reminder of what’s most important: the couple. It’s not about me, how cool I can look and sound; it’s about how well I can serve and the environment a great team can create for everyone.
