Yesterday in my stories I shared ways to make sure your getting ready experience is an enjoyable one.
In case you missed it. The tips were:
Limit social media. Bridal parties that spend the entire morning trying to capture BTS footage often leads to delays and missed opportunities to support the bride. If you must have BTS footage, recruit a friend NOT in the wedding party to capture it or hire a wedding content creator!
Give the bride some space. While all venues don’t allow for a private space for the bride try to find moments where she can relax and be alone or just with her beauty team so she can soak in the day.
Be mindful of scheduling pre-wedding events. Consider having the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on Thursday. Use Friday to tie up and loose ends and rest and relaxation.

We had the best call today with to come up with a fun signature cocktail that honors our client’s love of Prince and the color purple. When we present your design board it includes everything, including the drink options because we gotta coordinate.

There are so many options for every season, design and theme and we love to get creative with drink options that taste just as good as they look.

This week we attended three tastings, two venue walkthroughs, pulled rentals at the design center and had around 100000000 zoom calls and tomorrow we’re headed to Chapel Hill for a tasting with B&G.

What do you picture when you think of your ceremony? Ceremony design is just as important as the reception and it doesn’t have to break the bank. Consider the focal point of the room and spend your coins there. Like these gorgeous chandeliers that really helped center the space and draw everyone’s eyes forward. Sidenote: we can't wait for tented, outdoor wedding weather 😁
Red is having a moment y’all. And we are here for it. We just started the design presentation for one of our August couples using red as the main color. Balancing the boldness of this color and pairing it with accents that don’t give Christmas is no easy task.

Let’s talk timing.
Wedding production is intense. Many venues only allow 3-4 hours to setup a design that took months to plan. In order to get this result - you need a team. You also need to know what time you can access the venue, how many tables will there be - is the linen being laid by the venue, caterer or designer - is there a ramp for deliveries- is the florist placing the cake flowers or is the bakery. You see where I’m going with this. It takes skill and experience to pull it all together. And it’s not a job you should leave to your aunt, cousin or the planner who had a $500 day of coordination sale (shade, but no shade 💁🏽♀️). Hire a professional team and start with a professional planner. Catch me in stories later, I’ll dive into this more.

R&J found out just a few weeks before their wedding that a huge festival was scheduled (after they had booked the venue for their wedding) to take place a few hundred feet from their ceremony and reception. While they loved a good festival, they were NOT trying to have thousands of extra guests at their wedding. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

So, we sprang into action. We immediately began searching for a new venue on par with the venue they were walking away from. And thanks to our relationships within the community and expertise we not only found a venue - we found them the perfect venue. It checked every box and created magical moments like this.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
