This is a great thing to think about as you plan your crafting packing list for the Scrappy Stampers' Getaway.
Personally, I use my Memento ALL the time. I love to color with the Blends, so It is definitely my go to if I need black ink. I use it so much I have two ink pads!

I am SOOO happy to have a hard copy of the September to December Mini Catty! There are SOOO MANY things I want. Yes, I spent my shoe money for this month on my pre-order!

Anyway, I did get a few fabulous things to use at World Card Making Day for my Card Kits.
I also ordered some fantastic products that will be a part of my Winter Sampler kit at the Scrappy Stampers' Getaway!

Not every Getaway has smooth sailing. This one did until today when we have been delayed by stormy weather. Our original flight was to land a bit before midnight, now we are delayed and will hopefully be in by a bit before 2:00am. But on the bright side, the dogtherss will meet us when we get home, the cats have been fed and unlike may of our Raleigh friends we will arrive home to electricity. Oh, yes, and my honey makes sure we always has our Admiral's Club Membership. Yes, I am spoiled. =-)

All of this made me think of a card I created for my Crafternoon crew last month. It also made me think of Jay's dear stepfather with whom we sailed many times. Jim always reminded us that sailing was 23 and a half hours of bliss/pleasure and thirty minutes of sheer terror every day. While our day has not been that bad, the fellow in front of us on the flight from OKC to DFW had just arrived in OKC this morning only to learn that his home had been destroyed by a tornado. He had immediatley booked a flight hone. Fortunately, while he did loose property, his family were all safe and sound.
So, we may not always have smooth sailing, but we can always find them something good even in the inconveniences of life, like a delayed flight.

So, I am having a personal Scrappy Stampers' Getaway with my hunny this weekend.
We are visiting my mom and sisters in OKC and attending a reunion of our Camp Takatoka family tomorrow. We met at Camp Tak in 1990. He was the Pool Director and I was the Infirmary Supervisor. We are a Romcom! 😀
