Happy birthday Addy!! I had her birthday with she and her friends. What a perfect day with perfect weather for a pool party! I recently received some water resistant paints and this was the perfect opportunity to try them out. They definitely have a learning curve and I definitely need to practice more but they held up pretty well depending on the situation. Good, dry skin to start, allowing it to dry and a layer of setting powder is the way to go. I have ample time over the fall to get better acquainted so I'll be ready for next summer!!

Fun fact: I had never had my face painted before. My 7 year old now has my old kit and every now and then, will sit down and practice painting on my practice boards. Today, she did so well I let her paint my face! Not bad for a first time facepainting! I think she did a wonderful job! I foresee her helping me paint in the near future! 😍❤️

What an absolute joy it was yesterday to celebrate Baby Rogers! Such a great and welcoming crowd! What was interesting/ refreshing about this group of people is that very few wanted a face paint. Rather, they referred to my art as "tattoos" and opted for body painting. I never get to do that, so it was fun! The best part is, the kiddos sit very still because they're watching the image unfold. This was a great experience!

I had the pleasure of joining another Cow Party this evening . It did not disappoint!! So much fun for the kiddos to do! And so many happy families ❤️ Again, they know how to throw a good party!

Also, I was surprised to see some familiar faces show up! I was SO excited to see some of you who follow me on social media! It brings me great joy to know that you get joy from what I do! ❤️ Thank you for your support!!! I hope to do more public events so keep an eye out!

I had the absolute pleasure of painting at the Grand Opening of Light Bridge Academy in Wake Forest. What a treat! Such a fantastic event!!! I got to talk with some incredible families and paint their precious children.
Also, we were very impressed with how helpful the staff was and the school was beautiful, clean, and well laid out! It was just the kind of place we wished was available when our daughter was younger! If you have Littles, check it out!
