We've been all too quiet for all too long but stay tuned, we are about to roll out exciting new plans for #populateproductions! Our founder and owner, Angela Fisher, always dreamed of turning the company into an artistic incubator aimed at serving young talent, especially underprivileged youth. Angela launched Populate Productions in 2011 as a way to bring North Carolina communities together through Live Entertainment, Community Programs, and Local Food and Beverage, and Art in all Forms. Populate's events were almost entirely devastated by the pandemic, and it's been a tough few years, but it allowed for reflection. Now, more than ever, our youth need to be supported. It's a dream that Angela Lynn Fisher has had since her youth, and working with young bands in Pittsburgh. Our team is about to make it a reality. We're looking for great community partners in North Carolina and Pennsylvania (and everywhere in between). We are beyond blessed that so many of our friends that have previously supported us, are even more excited about supporting this new effort!
Even more exciting is that we will be partnering with Angela's youth empowerment program, Snapdragon Youth Fitness, to provide a platform that promotes artistic expression, while also offering an outlet for confidence through strength and a growth mindset. It's a huge undertaking, but everything that we've survived together helped us to see through to what we are most passionate about. We hope you'll stick around to follow and support our journey.
