The Raleigh Concert Band Bringing music to life for the Raleigh community since 1978. From an initial roster of 30 members, we have grown into a group of more than 70 musicians.

The Raleigh Concert Band was founded in 1978 to give local musicians an opportunity to perform music composed for large wind ensembles. We perform around the city at a variety of venues, from the Capitol Tree Lighting Ceremony to outdoor concerts at the Raleigh Little Theatre Rose Garden and Pullen Park. Our repertoire is wide ranging – from new compositions for mixed wind ensemble to classic marc

hes, from orchestral transcriptions to modern pop hits. Our members come from all walks of life and all levels of experience. We love to play and we love to share our music with the community. For more information, visit our website or send us a message.
