The fall tones, the pop of blue, the cowboy hat that belonged to her grandfather… this whole session was a dream. Western shoots bring out a side of my work I just love leaning into, and they are truly my happy place 💙

I used to avoid newborn sessions like the plague. They stressed me out more than a wedding day (LOL) I’d be sweating, overthinking every pose, and trying so hard to get the perfect image.

Now that I’ve settled into my creativity and flow, I see it differently. It’s really no different than photographing a couple, just with their sweet new addition! I stopped forcing it and started seeing it for what it is.

I love watching families in their rhythm, in their space, in their own season of life. It made me realize how much I want to remember those moments too, so I find so much joy/excitement capturing it for others 🤍🤍🤍
