Filming Bryson and Raina’s elopement in the Blue Ridge Mountains was such a meaningful experience, especially because I also had the chance to tell more of their story during a session along the coast where they both grew up.
Their immediate family was there to celebrate with them, but many of their guests still have no idea they are already married. Last month, they finally shared their film at their “wedding day” and reveal this part of their story with everyone who was not there.
Being trusted to create something that is not only a memory of their day but also part of such a meaningful surprise is something I will never take lightly.
Some films help us remember a day. Others become part of the story itself. This one gets to do both.
