🎪✨ A Little Note From Behind the Curtain… ✨🎪
Well folks… the last month was not exactly part of the act.
Our whole crew got hit with a nasty flu bug, and let’s just say it did not come with applause at the end. In addition to the flu, pre-existing health issues it can and did complicate things. So Between getting healthy again, keeping up with booked gigs, and quietly working behind the scenes to make the shop even better, we’ve been a little quieter than usual.
For that sudden absence, we truly apologize.
But don’t worry…
🎩 The wands are still wand-ing.
🐔 The rubber chickens are still squeaking.
🎈 The balloons are still twisting.
We haven’t gone anywhere.
In fact, we’ve been stocking new goodies, brewing up fresh surprises, and preparing for something special…
🎉 Our Official Grand Re-Opening will be in April! 🎉
(We’ll announce the exact date very soon — stay tuned!)
Thank you for your patience, your support, and for sticking with our little family circus through it all. It means more than you know. Truly.
The Little Big Top isn’t closing — we’re just tightening the ropes and polishing the spotlight. Health comes first. Family comes first. Then the spotlights come back on brighter.

🌄 🎪 Good morning everyone, we want to take a moment to clear up any confusion and share an important update regarding our space.

The Steampunk General Store has officially closed, and The Little Big Top Magic & Joke Shop will be continuing on — stronger than ever — in the full space.

Creatively and professionally, Paul and I were unable to see eye-to-eye despite genuine efforts to make the collaboration work. Over time, the partnership became unbalanced, and the expectations outlined in our written agreement were not met. After careful consideration and following the terms of that agreement, the decision was made to formally end that chapter.

It’s important for us to be clear and transparent:
Melissa and I have always been the sole proprietors of The Little Big Top Magic & Joke Shop. We provided all startup funding, have continuously covered insurance, advertising, and operating costs, and my name has always been the only one on the lease. No ownership has changed hands — this space has always been ours.

While it’s never easy to close a chapter, we truly believe this marks the beginning of a new and exciting one. With full creative control and renewed focus, we’re looking forward to expanding the magic, the laughter, and the experiences you’ve come to love.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us, believed in us, and continues to walk this journey with our family-run shop. We’re still here — and we’re just getting started.

What a spectacularly sneaky good time today was! Thank you to everyone who came out to visit the Grinch, snap photos, share laughs, and sprinkle a little holiday mischief around the market. Seeing all those smiling face truly made our hearts grow three sizes today.
