There’s something about Nantucket in the rain that feels even more romantic. The fog rolling over the harbor, the sound of rain softly hitting the tent roof, candlelight flickering a little brighter, guests lingering a little longer.

A tented wedding on a rainy island evening has its own kind of magic - intimate, nostalgic, and deeply comforting in that quintessential Nantucket way. The kind of night where damp shoulders turn into espresso martinis, laughter echoes a little louder, and dinner feels less like an event and more like coming home.

A Nantucket kind of romance- soft, slow, and entirely its own.

The rain came first, dampening the benches, wrapping the island in that quiet, anticipatory hush. Guests leaned in a little closer, umbrellas blooming, the air thick with something almost cinematic. And then… just as Liz & Wright began the walk to the beach, the rain slipped away.

In its place: the dreamiest grey fog rolling in from the harbor, like a veil drawn just for them. The kind of moment you couldn’t plan if you tried—mist clinging to every hydrangea, the ocean barely visible beyond, everything feeling suspended in time.

Proof that sometimes the most beautiful ceremonies aren’t the sunniest ones- they’re the ones that feel like Nantucket itself.

I started Beacon & Berkeley because I believe weddings should feel as beautiful as they look.

My work lives in the quiet details - layered textiles, meaningful paper, spaces that feel welcoming from the moment guests arrive.

I design celebrations across New England, Washington D.C. and beyond, partnering with couples who value intention, experience, and storytelling.

When I’m not designing weddings, you can usually find me sending raccoon videos, ordering an espresso martini, buying something I absolutely didn’t need at Anthropologie, or sitting on the deck listening to the ocean and thinking about table linens.
