A wedding day at Rock Creek Gardens is never experienced from just one place.

You move through the Gardens as the day unfolds. From portraits beneath the stone archway and beside the rowboat on the pond, to dinner, dancing, and celebrations in the courtyard, with beautiful spaces tucked throughout the property along the way.

Different settings. Different moments. One unforgettable wedding day.

That natural flow is part of what makes the Gardens so special. It’s not just one beautiful backdrop. The entire property becomes part of your wedding story.

Last weekend, we were honored to fly to Seattle to photograph S + D’s wedding at the stunning Rock Creek Gardens—one of our favorite weddings to date.

Nestled in a peaceful forest, the venue overlooks a beautiful lake where S + D rowed a flower-filled boat that looked straight out of a painting.

Every detail was so thoughtfully curated. From the stationery and florals to the guest favors featuring their two beloved cats, and even a self-serve boba bar that guests absolutely loved. Every element reflected their personalities and the love they share with their family and friends.

We ended the day with the dreamiest sunset portraits, the perfect ending to an unforgettable celebration.

We’re so grateful to have shared this incredible day alongside such a talented and passionate vendor team while witnessing S + D begin this beautiful new chapter together.

Congratulations again, Sandy & Derek! Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness.

It actually rained moments before the beautiful sunlight came through and gave us the most stunning portraits.
