What places call to you? the ocean is at the top of my list. The second is the desert. There is something in those rocks and dirt that is magical. The feeling you have in an area that is so vast. You can't see the same array of abundance life all around you like you can here in the PNW. But you know under rocks in little hidden areas there is life. Most of the landscape is exactly the same as it has been for hundreds of years. The sunsets are magical, the night skies have an allure that is breath taking but also makes you feel so small in this world.
Find those places and go out and experience them. There is too much world out there to not take it all in.

It seems like it was only just a little time ago I saw baby E for her newborn photos. Time in the first year flies by unfairly fast. I always love getting to be apart of these moments and part of documenting these milestones as they come!

There is no greater beauty then just being yourself and relaxed in your own skin. It's not always easy to find the time within the daily grind to stop and give yourself space to just be. We are constantly looking ahead to what needs to be done, what is next, striving to achieve our next goal or just pushing through on the daily. What we will look back on is this time and how much we didn't enjoy or appreciate ourselves. So much changes about our lives in short spurts and we overlook what is good about where are right not. Only to look back later and wish we appreciated where we were in the past. Don't live in the past. Live in the moment right now. Love yourself and your life for whatever it looks like. Where you are today is who gets you to where you may be looking to be tomorrow. That comes with loving the now and appreciating the journey.

This weekend was an incredible experience. It was very fulfilling as an artist, a person and a mentor. I appreciate the opportunity every time I get to bring out my camera and that’s doubled when I can share my knowledge and experience with someone else. Thanks to .madison.hall for letting me share this with you to help start your growth in your own journey. I couldn’t be more appreciative of the women who showed up and were willing to let us curate freely in a space to learn and just be.
I always learn a bit myself teaching. I’m here for creating a space to embrace the present and find beauty within the individual, personality and love for ourselves flaws and all.

The snow season is almost over. I will miss these incredible winter wonderland sessions. This one was a rare one with the perfect combo of a slight snow storm but beautiful visible clarity.

I'm here for the fall color, the pumpkin spice, boots, jackets and not having to fan or freeze the whole house with air conditioning. I will however miss bare foot babies running around nature and the beautiful lush greens and florals we have during our summers. Oh yes and can't forget those stunning views of Mt Rainier. I'll just relive them a bit through photos :)
