FROM THE WINY RADIO NEWSROOM: PUTNAM FIREWORKS ARE SATURDAY, JULY 11TH AT ROTARY PARK ON KENNEDY DRIVE IN PUTNAM: HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
4 PM – Jump Zone Rentals opens with 5 inflatables including one for kids 3 and under. $5 wrist bands to jump all you want. Plus, cotton candy, sno-cones and popcorn for sale.
4 PM - FOOD TRUCKS OPEN including
Little B's BBQ, Three Little Lemons, Not Your Average Popcorn, Berrysweetsft, Putnam II LEO Club, Green Valley Crossing, Leona's Baking Co. and Nikki's Dog House.
5 PM- HOT DOG EATING CONTEST ON STAGE: Presented by the Quinebaug Valley Regional Rotaract Club and Nikki's Dog House.
7 PM – Red Light - Party Rock LIVE on the bandstand at Rotary Park
9:15 PM – GIGANTIC FIREWORKS DISPLAY!

11 AM TO 2 PM – TOURS OF CADY COPP COTTAGE with the Aspinock Historical Society of Putnam CT. Shuttle buses available from the
Town of Putnam Municipal Complex.

11 AM TO 3 PM- FREEDOM FEST presented by the Putnam VFW: On the lawn at St Mary Church, across from the Putnam VFW, 207 Providence Street in Putnam with face painting, balloons, bounce house, music, and FREE FOOD! There will also be BINGO at the Albert J. Breault VFW Post 1523.
