Year after year, these ladies pour their hearts into creating moments that honor life, community, and love. From organizing, designing altars, coordinating vendors, to making every detail shine, we couldn’t do it without them.

Directed and choreographed by Ivette Ninataype, Grupo Folklórico Legado is a dance group dedicated to carrying on the legacy of our ancestors and culture through dance. 🌸💃

Their mission is to create a feeling of belonging, a community of understanding, and a connection to our roots. Through learning and sharing our culture, they hope to inspire the next generation to honor the legacies of those who came before us.

Performers Spotlight: Grupo Folklórico Sapichu ✨

Grupo Folklorico Sapichu is a folklorico group whose members represent the wide variety of traditional dances of Mexico. The group was started back in 2017, and continues to be directed and taught by two sisters, Gabriela and Michelle Ampuero; the group is an homage to the tradition of folklorico passed down through generations of their extended family. Sapichu loves to share the amazing and diverse music and dance heritage of Mexico with others.

Free Folklórico Dance Workshop with Leslie De Ávila! ✨

Join us for a FREE Folklórico dance class led by Leslie De Ávila, a Mexican-American photographer and dance educator based in Vineyard, Utah. She is the owner of Hola Leslie Photography and co-founder of The Muse Creative Studio, where she offers culturally rich dance classes for all ages. 🌸💃

Leslie specializes in Folklórico, the traditional Mexican dance that celebrates heritage, rhythm, and storytelling through movement. She is passionate about creating spaces where children and adults can experience confidence, connection, and culture through dance.

🕒 Workshop Time: 4:00 PM (45-minute Folklórico workshop)
On October 10th, Leslie will guide participants in learning basic steps, rhythms, and the cultural context of this vibrant art form.
