Babes & Bois, in collaboration with and the .house, presents a screening of ‘The Le***an Bar Project: FLINTA’ on Thursday, April 24th at 7pm.

A post-screening discussion on the film, q***r culture and self-identity in our community will be led by Carmen da Silva of & Rachael Brister of .

$10 suggested donation at the door. All are welcome!

This newest docuseries by Erica & Elina, of the , documents the complex and triumphant stories of the FLINTA (Female, Le***an, Intersex, Non-Binary, Trans, Agender) communities in Cologne & Berlin; a reflection of where the q***r community is headed internationally. Despite Le***an Bars disappearing in Germany, there’s a growing FLINTA movement that epitomizes the evolution of q***r culture. Featuring Boize Bar owner Payman Neziri, comedian Ricarda Hofmann, human rights activist Anbid Zaman, politician Tessa Ganserer, and party collectives Bebex and Girls Town.

Wicked Q***r: Doc Fest (***r) returns next weekend in Boston from November 15-22, 2024!

Babes & Bois is proud to co-present both “Any Other Way: The Jackie Shane Story” produced by and “Pumping Iron II: The Women” 🎬🎥

Do not the Saturday matinee of , a captivating story about an absurdly talented and uncompromising black trans R&B firecracker whose story needs to be shared with the world. It was a balance between real recordings, primary sources, people who knew Jackie, and some people who were influenced by her. This screening is held at 2:30PM at the — ticket link in bio 🎙️

And finishing our Saturday off strong is “Pumping Iron II: The Women”, which offers a bold look at female bodybuilding, where strength and femininity collide. With powerful women breaking traditional gender norms, this documentary challenges society’s views on women’s bodies—an empowering watch for anyone defying expectations and embracing who they are.

What a stunningly meditative space and a beautiful moment to share in such an art-focused community for a twilight encounter together.
