Calling all movie aficionados, music lovers, and anyone curious about the film or music industry!
Join BCA for an evening with 2-time Grammy award winning music supervisor Randall Poster, a close collaborator with legends ranging from Wes Anderson to Martin Scorsese. Poster’s distinctive ear and immense talent have shaped soundtracks for films including The Grand Budapest Hotel, Priscilla, Skyfall, Vinyl, Killers of the Flower Moon, The Hangover movie series, Zoolander, School of Rock, and The Wolf of Wall Street. He has worked with artists ranging from Charli XCX to Mick Jagger.
Poster is a proud Brown alum: after graduating, he created a movie inspired by local radio station WBRU and developed it with the Sundance Institute and Atlantic Records. Now, he works alongside Brown classmate Josh Deutsch to run Premier Music Group—a music strategy and supervision firm involved with projects like Tiger King and The Queen’s Gambit, and Higher Ground (Michelle and Barack Obama’s production company).
This special event—complete with an audience Q&A—will offer a rare look into Poster’s creative process, career, and the art of developing unforgettable cinematic soundscapes. Join us for an inspiring conversation with one of the industry’s visionaries.
