Bring lawn blankets and chairs, There is an open ‘Jammin’ on the Veranda’ Friday nights at 8pm. Then another open Jam Session on Saturday night at 9pm. The last weekend of September has predictably pleasant weather for the Upper Rogue’s Premier Music Festival where superb bands create their original combination of Folk, Bluegrass, Americana and Country music for your enjoyment. Seated on the lawn of the majestic Prospect Hotel grounds, surrounded by hundreds of spectacular trees you will be entertained with each genre performed by delightful, multi-talented musicians from the Pacific Northwest. Each morning Prospect’s Search and Rescue Team offers a benefit breakfast from 7-9am. During the day try some of the best food around from Prospect Hotel’s Dinner House staff. Enjoy the deliciousness of Prime Rib French Dip sandwiches, BBQ Prime Rib bones, BBQ Chicken, sweet potato fries, salads and more. What better way to savor the tasty food and great music than with local wines and local beer. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a GREAT weekend in Prospect for some ‘Music in the Mountains”!
