an open ‘Jammin’ on the Veranda’ Friday night at 8pm. Then another open Jam Session on Saturday night at 9pm. The last weekend of September has predictably pleasant weather for the Upper Rogue’s Premier Music Festival where superb bands create their original combination of Folk, Bluegrass, Americana and Country music for your enjoyment. Seated on the lawn of the majestic Prospect Hotel grounds, surrounded by hundreds of spectacular trees you will be entertained with each genre performed by delightful, multi-talented musicians from the Pacific Northwest. During the day try some of the best food around from Prospect Hotel’s Dinner House staff. Enjoy the deliciousness of Prime Rib French Dip sandwiches, BBQ Prime Rib bones, BBQ Chicken, sweet potato fries, salads and more. What better way to savor the tasty food and great music than with local wines from Crater Lake Cellars, and local beer. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for a GREAT weekend in Prospect for some ‘Music in the Mountains”! Jammin' on the Veranda Friday Night 8pm, SHOW TIMES 11am to 6pm Saturday & Sunday. SORRY but NO PETS will be allowed. We still have a few rooms at the Prospect Hotel (www.prospecthotel.com) and there are rooms available in Shady Cove and loads of campsites in the area. The air is even cleaner at the Prospect Historic Hotel - Motel and Dinner House. The AQI (Air Quality Index) is 11 currently.
