The rumors are true! Just minutes ago we contracted Wold Amusements to bring several carnival rides & games to the Crook County Fair! They will be using a portion of our General Parking area. Unlimited ride wristbands are $30 presale, and you can also purchase credits for the games. Wristbands will be $38 on-site at the carnival. Wristbands and game credits will NOT be sold at the Fairgrounds Office or Info Booth -- only through Wold. Here is the link to purchase:

Hours of operation will mirror the public hours of Fair: Weds, 5pm-9pm, and Thurs/Fri/Sat, 10am-9pm.

Do you love spooky stories? Sitting around a campfire? Join us for our Spooktacular Evening of Stories and Cocoa around a crackling fire!

Behind the picturesque mountains, where wildflowers and sunshine are plentiful, is there something deeper within the Ochoco’s? Between the lines of history, do ghosts prevail? Come find out on October 17th at 6PM at the Ochoco Pavilion.

Participants are encouraged to dress warmly, bring blankets or chairs, and prepare for a spooky, fun-filled night under the stars. All ages are welcome, and no registration is required. Listen to real-life scary stories and experience the eerie side of the Ochoco National Forest. Stay for the fun... if you dare!"
