ty was designed with your wedding in mind. Rustic on the outside, but elegant on the inside, it features lots of glass looking out onto the gardens, along with a bride’s room, groom’s room, modern bathrooms and a large kitchen. Heating and air conditioning guarantee that you and your guests will dine and celebrate in comfort. The large, covered patio provides a place to start the party with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, and to step outside later and enjoy the evening air. Photo opportunities abound in the unique setting that is Hornbaker Gardens. Your photographer, as well as your friends and family, will have a field day with their cameras. ✨ A little project with a big purpose! ✨

After seasons of unpredictable Midwest weather, we knew we needed another beautiful ceremony option for those times when we’ve had so much rain that our traditional ceremony site is simply too saturated. Because the last thing we want is you dragging that beautiful dress through wet, soggy grass on your way down the aisle! 🤍

But if we were going to offer an upper ceremony site, we wanted it to feel intentional — not like a “Plan B” which meant the bags set needed moved.

So… we moved the entire backdrop. And when we say moved it, it was definitely not as simple as it sounds. 😂 A lot of work went into relocating, resetting, leveling and finishing our bags set so that it looks like it was always meant to be right here.

And we couldn’t be happier with how beautifully it turned out. 😍
✨Special thanks to David for doing the heavy lifting…and providing most of the sweat equity 😂 with a little extra muscle and helping hands from Vutha and Rick, too. We appreciate you!

He took pride in his work, enjoyed his independence, and always had stories to share about his beloved cat, Toby. We’ll miss seeing him each week and are grateful for the time he spent as part of our Hornbaker Gardens family. Forever in our hearts, Charles!
