moody, graduation photos to celebrate Gabe’s Masters degree 📜🎓🧸

Gabe graduated in the Spring from The University of Pikeville, and wanted to celebrate getting her masters (as she should!!! 🤪) with a photoshoot on campus.

Weather made us reschedule our original April session date, but it worked in our favor. She wanted to feature her diploma cover, cords, and pins in her photos, so the move to a few weeks after graduation worked out much better and gave us a wayyyyyy less crowded campus to explore.

We only ran into one person the entire time we roamed the Univeristy of Pikeville campus. So pro tip for anyone introverted or shy who may not feel comfortable doing their grad photos on campus during the busiest time of year, highly recommend waiting until at least a week later. Campus will be cleared out and you can fully be yourself during your photos. 🤭

These were also taken during a time of day that I usually never shoot in (noon with FULL sun), but UPike has so many different locations on campus that we were able to get really pretty light in a lot of places.

I love my Upike grads. I can’t wait to meet my future bears 🧡🧸🎓📜

P.S. these are giving me dark academic vibes and I’m living for it
