How do you say goodbye to such an amazing contributor to a genre often overlooked? The sheer talent of Ozzy Osbourne was a gift to us for so many years. We are so grateful he chose to share it with us for as long as he did. With one final gift, the largest charitable contribution to help not one but THREE organizations: Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Acorn Children’s Hospice and Cure Parkinson’s. He knew how to go out with a bang and he surely did to benefit others!! Thank you Mr. Osbourne for all of it.

No matter what goal I pursued—what I worked tirelessly for, sacrificed “me time” for (and as a single parent, that was already rare)—my kids were always at the heart of it. They were never an obstacle. They were my why. My driving force.
The dreams I chased were my own, not theirs. It was always important to me that they had the space and freedom to chase their dreams, not feel obligated to carry mine. Yes, Florian is a family business—but it’s my dream, not one I ever expected them to inherit.
When the time came, this mama bird opened the nest and watched with pride as her baby birds flew toward their own paths. And this past year, without them by my side in the day-to-day, has been a bittersweet but beautiful learning curve.
I couldn’t be prouder of who they are and what they’re becoming. They’ll always be part of the heart and soul of Florian—woven into its very fabric.

I love you, my sweet kiddos. You’ll always be part of this dream, even as you chase your own. Always. 💐

When the mode of inspiration was prompted by: “I want it to say DEATH”. Heard…we got you. Sultry burgundy ranunculus, deep burgundy artichoke, and almost black scabiosa scoop with a single dark centered white anemone. I’m pretty sure we killed it. 😉
