Thursday, 10/2/2025 was a fun morning at Prattvillage Garden (PVG) as Autauga Co Master Gardener (ACMGA) volunteers presented the history of Old Prattvillage and PVG. ACMGA volunteers created PVG from the ground up 30yrs ago (1995) and continue to lovingly maintain the garden. Here are a few photos of Lori Terrell, Jane McCarthy and Sheila Peason as they instructed most of the current class of 25 Interns now studying to become Master Gardeners. The Interns also visited the ACMGA Demonstration Garden adjacent to the Autauga-Prattville Public Library. That garden grows crops year-round and donate all the produce to the Autauga Interfaith Care Center (AICC) for helping feed impoverished residents of Autauga Co. Photos by Dian Owens ACMGA
