Look at those baby sunflowers coming in so nicely 😍 🌻💛🌻 This is our first planting. We will likely do at least two, if not three more successions so we can bring you and the bees beautiful sunnies for as long as possible this summer and fall!!

One giant leap toward getting our cut flowers and veggies in the ground!!

🧡 A HUGE Thank You to my parents, Ben and our boys for helping to put down the landscape fabric on the lower garden today. The extra hands made it a whole lot easier to manage with the continuous wind gusts.

While it's tedious and a bit of a pain in the toosh to lay down and pound staple after staple, for right now we use this fabric to save us many hours of weeding and fighting off everything else that wants to grow and take over the flowers and vegetables.

So glad to get this checked off the to-do list. Next up...planting! 🪏🌱

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that stopped by Whispering Oats Farm Stand yesterday to check out our first ever Pop Up Plant Sale!!

The weather was perfect, the plants were (mostly) ready and we got to see new faces along with many we know well.

My sister, Lisa, from Growing Wilde Flower Farm and I thoroughly enjoyed hosting this event, sharing our growing tips, and making new connections.

We look forward to turning this into an annual happening, and have a list of notes on how to make the next one even better!

I also wanted to extend my gratitude to Lisa for co-hosting with me. We both started our flower farming journeys a few years back and I am ever grateful to have her as a sounding board as we each find our way in our beautifully evolving ventures.

Thank you again!! We look forward to seeing you at the next one! 🌱🏵️💛
