The buddies gathered together to celebrate Earth Day by talking about ways we can care for the environment and reduce waste in our everyday lives. They learned about contemporary artist Hiroshi Fuji, who creates large-scale sculptural installations using unwanted and discarded toys. The buddies explored how everyday objects that might otherwise be thrown away can be transformed into meaningful works of art.

Next, they received a challenge card and a mystery bag of recycled materials and set off to build. Finally, they presented their designs and reflected on the importance of giving materials a second life while expressing their own creativity and imagination. 🩵🧡
