Experience the Cuyahoga Valley at its most vibrant aboard our Fall Scenic Excursion. Settle in and watch as the landscape transforms into a tapestry of brilliant reds, fiery oranges, and golden yellows. Wind through forests ablaze with color, catch glimpses of native wildlife preparing for the season ahead, and enjoy some of the best leaf-peeping views in the region, all from the comfort of a vintage train.

We’re excited to announce our upcoming nature program, Fall Bird Migration, taking place on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 PM for ages 16+!

Led by instructor Lori Williams and featuring guest speakers Devin Mingesbruney and Matthew Shumar from The Ohio Bird Conservation Initiative, this program is all about exploring the wonders of fall bird migration. Join us to learn about the fascinating migration process, the challenges birds face along their journey, and ways our community can help support them. Following the presentation, participants will head out on a guided hike to identify local birds and discover how to use popular tools like the Merlin and eBird apps. Plus, every participant will receive a natural suet feeder to take home!

Join us every Monday at 8:30a.m (Adventure Park Skate Park Shelter). for a casual 2-mile walk around Powell. Meet new people, enjoy some fresh air and start your week on the right foot!

🩺 Walk With A Doc
In partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Walk With A Doc meets at Adventure Park on the third Saturday of each month at 9a.m. Each walk begins with a brief discussion on a health and wellness topic led by a local physician, followed by a group walk.

Both programs are FREE!

Join local artist Dave Liggett as he shares his passion for photography and nature. Dave will introduce basic photography concepts that help participants better appreciate the natural world. Following a brief discussion, participants will have the opportunity to photograph a raptor provided by the Ohio School of Falconry. Interested in learning about Pickleball?
Join our Beginner Learn & Play program starting August 3rd and 5th. This class will teach the basics of Pickleball including how to hit a forehand, backhand, dink and score. Players will understand through play to learn the rules, perform a legal serve and be provided playing strategies. This is designed as a fun learning experience.
