Dear Friends and Family,
After 2 wonderful years of owning The Glass Slipper, we’ve decided it’s time to turn over the reigns. It’s been such an honor to serve Powell/Columbus families celebrate birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers and other special occasions. We’ve planned hundreds of parties, donated to local schools and non-profits, provided leadership positions to high school and college students, walked in Powell parades and participated in other community events, created a distance learning program during hybrid and so much more. None of this could have happened without you.
We will miss all of the above mentioned, but most of all we will miss meeting all of our wonderful families, hearing the gasps from the girls who have seen the upstairs for the first time, and to see the smiles and hear the laughter of the birthday girl and all of her friends.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for always supporting The Glass Slipper, especially during these trying times. It’s been an incredible ride and experience and we appreciate you all so much!

As we are ready to move on, our first goal is to find someone who would be a perfect fit to take over this amazing business. As we search for the perfect owner, we remain committed to serving families through the month of December . We would like the new owner to take over in January.

We're excited to host the annual Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony at 10 a.m. Monday, May 31 in downtown Powell. The parade and ceremony will follow public health guidelines established by local, state and federal health agencies.

This year’s parade will feature approximately 30 units and will begin on Grace Drive and follow west to North Liberty Street. Participants will then travel south on Liberty Street to Olentangy Street, where they will turn right and continue west. The parade ends at the railroad crossing on Olentangy Street.

A ceremony will be held immediately following the parade at the Amphitheater Stage in Village Green Park, located at 47 Hall Street. The program will include remarks from Mayor Frank Bertone and keynote speaker retired United States Marine Corps Reserve Lieutenant Colonel Tom Foos.
