On March 22, 2025, we’re coming together to honor the memory of our dear friend Chardae “Prima” Sanders. This walk is not only a tribute to her strength and legacy but also a way to raise awareness and support for those affected by kidney disease.

He has accomplished so much, but what I admire most is that he has always stayed true to himself. Watching him grow into the amazing young man he is today has been the greatest blessing. As the clock winds down on 2024, I can’t help but reflect on what an incredible year it has been. There were highs that lifted my spirit and challenges that strengthened my resolve. Through it all, I am deeply grateful.

If you know me, you know how I feel about my son! (Desireé’s Son 😂) Since the day Khilan was born, I’ve always known how special he was and what kind of man I hoped he would be. And although all I can do is give him the lessons/advice, I know that ultimately it is up to him to decide what kind of man he will become. Needless to say his father and I are incredibly proud of him and the decisions he has made thus far. I’m proud of him for winning Homecoming King. I’m proud of him for winning Mr. South Cobb. So far he’s been accepted into over 27 colleges. He has his own business, but more importantly I am proud of his character. I’m proud that he gets up on Sundays and goes to church and wants to have a closer relationship with God. I’m proud that he knows that respect set the standard. I’m proud that he knows opening doors and being a gentleman is just the minimum of what he should do. I can’t wait to see the husband and father that he one day becomes. A young black man full of black boy joy. Keep pushing Son. I’m rooting for you!!
