Yesterday was truly special. 🖤✨

I’ve had the honor of planning and designing so many beautiful celebrations, but this one hit a little differently. Yesterday, I watched my cousin Summer marry her forever, Sashea, and I’m so grateful that I was trusted to be a part of their journey — not only as family, but as their wedding planner and designer.

It’s been a long road getting to this moment, which made seeing every detail finally come together that much sweeter. From the planning and countless decisions to watching the room transform and seeing them celebrate surrounded by the people they love — it was all worth it.

Summer & Sashea, thank you for trusting me with such an important chapter of your story. It was truly an honor to bring your vision to life. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and beautiful memories. 🥂🖤

From Hillman College to Clark Atlanta University. 🎓❤️

A.M.E.E. Event Planning had the pleasure of providing the décor for Clark Atlanta University’s watch party celebrating the new A Different World series! 📺✨

We brought a little piece of Hillman to campus with a custom-designed set filled with nostalgic details — brick columns, lockers, ivy, campus signage and all the touches that made it feel like you stepped right into A Different World.

There’s something extra special about bringing an iconic HBCU-inspired world to life at an HBCU. ❤️

20 years later… and what a full-circle moment.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been part of the planning committee for the southcobb06 20-Year Class Reunion. Seeing so many familiar faces, reconnecting with classmates, sharing laughs, and creating new memories made every moment worth it.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the evening so special. The memories may be 20 years old, but the bond remains the same.

Crazy to think I started A.M.E.E. Event Planning when Kaliyah was just 5 and Khilan was only 3. ❤️

They’ve truly seen it all—the highs, the lows, the wins, the setbacks, and the moments when I wanted to throw in the towel and walk away. They’ve been helping with events since they were knee-high, laying linen, setting chargers, and doing whatever needed to be done. (And if you know, you know… they absolutely hated chair covers! 😂)

Through it all, I’m grateful that God gave me the opportunity to show them what perseverance looks like. Not perfection. Not overnight success. Just the willingness to keep going, keep believing, and keep building even when things got hard.

Watching them grow while A.M.E.E. grew has been one of my greatest blessings. 💙
