We are excited to share that “Rain Reign,” which was shot in the Hudson Valley last summer, will be premiering at this week! 30 local crew and many local background actors (casting by ) took part in the production, which shot in Dutchess County from late May to early July last year. Locations included the Dutchess SPCA, MJN Civic Center and Stissing House, as well as the towns of Clinton Corners and Hyde Park.

Directed by Erika Burke Rosss, the film stars Felice Kakaletris as Rose, a neurodivergent middle schooler who loses her dog Rain during a superstorm. She embarks on a search with her uncle (played by Paul Rudd) that tests her family’s bonds and her own resilience. You can catch the film at Tribeca this weekend (6/6 and 6/7) or next week on 6/11 and 6/14.
