🙏❤️ A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT — PRAYERS FOR MIKE HILL ❤️🙏

On behalf of myself and the entire Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame, I want to ask everyone to please keep our friend and fellow Hall of Famer Mike Hill, inducted in 2022, in your thoughts and prayers as he recuperates from heart surgery.

We are praying for Mike to have a strong, healthy, and quick recovery, and that each day brings him more strength and healing.

One thing I have always believed about the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame is that we are much more than an organization made up of “members.”

We are a family.

We celebrate together during the good times, and when one of our own is facing a difficult time, we stand beside them. That's what family does.

Mike has been a valued part of our Hall of Fame family, and right now we want him and his family to know that there are a whole lot of people across Michigan thinking about him, praying for him, and pulling for him.

Mike, take care of yourself, get plenty of rest, and concentrate on getting stronger. Your Hall of Fame family is behind you all the way.

May God bless you with strength, healing, comfort, and a complete recovery. 🙏

Get well soon, Mike. We look forward to seeing you again!

🎶 HAPPY INTERNATIONAL MUSIC DAY! 🎶

Today, October 1st, the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame joins music lovers around the world in celebrating International Music Day!

Country music is more than songs and instruments. It's stories, traditions, friendships and memories passed from one generation to the next.

Here in Michigan, we are incredibly proud of the singers, songwriters, musicians, bands, DJs, promoters and countless others who have helped build and preserve our state's country music history.

To all of our Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame inductees, past and present—and to every musician still out there playing the music and keeping traditional country music alive—we celebrate YOU today! 🎸🎻🎤

And most importantly, thank you to the fans. Every ticket purchased, every dance danced, every song requested and every round of applause helps keep this music alive.

❤️ Here's to the music that brought us together—and the generations who will carry it forward.

Happy International Music Day from the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame!
