Hi everyone. I’m Valentina and I am actually an introvert ☺️. I have the capability of being extroverted in the right setting. That is when I am working as a DJ, with close friends and family and when others (usually an extroverted personality), gives me the green light that it’s ok to be me. I read vibes😉

It gets frustrating sometimes but this side of me keeps me centered. And it’s a big part of who I am. So I have learned to embrace what I cannot change and be grateful for the lessons it has taught me. In the end, it’s all part of our personal growth, process and journey.

If you’re not looking to make the MAJORITY of your guests happy, You’re missing the point. You can’t please them all, so forget that. But, you should try to create a vibe that resonates across the board. You older guests are super important too aren’t they?

It is totally possible to have a KILLER dance party that EVERYONE will continue to talk about. It’s all about the experience with a DJ who understands vibes.

PEACE out to this past weekend’s line up of events ✌️and leaving you with 2 Long but important tips.

1. Dinner music can vary so much. Depending on your venue and the acoustics. Your desired vibe may need to be tweaked last minute.

Picture your guests listening to Frank Sinatra’s the way you look tonight at a comfortable level. In a space with Hard surfaces such as bare floors and walls and hard furniture such as wooden or metal tables, chairs and counters, it may sound pleasant at first, but when it hits the crescendo, it will throw the vibe off.

Your DJ should be able to control a lot of sound issues with the right equipment, but we’re not super heroes😄. Song selections are also an extremely important part of this process.

In a situation like this, a more background light tropical house or sexy NY Jazz lounge vibe might be more suitable. It won’t clash with the acoustics nor with the chatter.

2. There’s a reason why some DJs charge a lot more than others. Years of knowledge of the industry, of music and its affect on people. Not all people are created equally and this also applies to music. What brings out excitement in one person, may not have the same affect on the next. The ability to read ENERGY , Professionalism, dressing the part and good ole common sense. There’s so much more to being a great DJ than just simply playing music. So don’t be afraid to ask questions in order to determine if you are speaking to a high level pro for your big day!

Look at me! I’m a badass.
I make my own rules, created my own path and became a success.

I don’t need a man, I can go where I want, buy what I want and be what I want.

I understand what others perceive as beauty and give it to them. I am the life of the party.

Yet, I have no control of any part of it.
I cannot predict what will happen from one minute to the next.

I’ve no control of whether I live to 90 or if today was my last day.

I feel in control even when , but even that’s a dream. For no one knows the future except for the father.
