I always cross my fingers before sending Draft I. Especially if the couple doesn’t know what they want. While I write, I think about the couple and what they “radiated” during our Zoom meetings. It’s a wonderful feeling to nail it:❤️

We are SPEECHLESS!! It took me a few reads to be able to completely read it without tearing up. This is so beautiful, thank you! I love the poems you added, especially the one right before our vows about the river and fire. I knew that poem just from hearing someone read it before and instantly resonated with it, so reading it in our own ceremony felt full circle! I truly did not have many edits to make other than our names, and anything I changed I highlighted for quick findings. Thank you again, I hope you are doing well!

It's sunset at Cakes for All Seasons.... The last seven years have been terrific here at the Pepperell Mill in Biddeford. I've tried all sorts of fun projects learned plenty and made it through Covid. The best part has been meeting my lovely neighbors, all of whom reached out to help when I broke my leg last winter. 2025 has been rough personally, though, and I'm ready to move on. My last wedding is October 4th and I've decided to stop taking orders until then so I can focus on packing up and getting ready for a big move to Indianapolis to be near my daughter. Orders on the books will be filled, of course. I'll have all sorts of baking supplies and equipment for sale in the coming weeks and invite any bakers/cooks to reach out to find out what's available and/or come by to visit and take a look.

Funny moment: Before the ceremony in Rockport, Maine, I chatted with guests staying in the area. I said “If you drive around, keep an eye out for the Banded Cows that Rockport is known for.” Everyone looked mildly disturbed.. After a long pause the groom’s father asked “Why were they abandoned?” We had a good laugh imagining lonely cows wandering around ritzy Rockport blocking traffic, goring tourists, ETC..😂 I believe they’re actually called Belted Cows & they live at Aldemere Farm. But they’ll always be Abandoned to me.🤣

👕🍼 Laundry Line Baby Cake

🍰 Ingredients

🎂 For the Cake:

3 tiers of sponge cake (6”, 8”, 10”)

Filling: vanilla cream with raspberry or lemon curd

Buttercream for crumb coat

Fondant: pastel blue, pink, yellow, mint, white, beige

👶 Decorations:

Fondant clothes: onesies, bibs, socks, diapers

Twine-style fondant laundry line wrapped around tiers

Mini clothespins made from fondant or modeling chocolate

Optional: baby name on the middle tier

Small sugar clouds, stars, or hearts for background

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Bake & Stack:

Bake sponge cakes for 3 tiers

Fill and crumb coat each with buttercream

Chill well before covering

2. Cover & Assemble:

Cover each tier with pastel fondant (e.g., mint green, blush pink)

Stack the tiers safely with supports

3. Decorate:

Wrap fondant string around each tier like a laundry line
