📝 What an amazing opportunity for young writers!!! Spots are still available for THE NOVEL CAMP for 12-15-year-old writers! Over the course of three 4-day sessions, author and educator Melissa Duclos will teach young writers about narrative structures, character development, world building, developmental and copyediting, cover design, books marketing, and self publishing. The camp will feature lunch and learn talks with other members of Portland's literary community, including other novelists, a bookseller, a cover designer, and an editor.

Students who come to the camp in June with their story idea and a commitment to their project will have finished novels, available for sale if they choose, by mid-November. 🥳

What if, for one morning, you didn't have to be so resilient? What if you could set down some of the weight you carry, and recharge in nature with others who can relate to your struggles, as well as your values?

Join us for a wandering workshop to do just that. As we head up Mt. Tabor, we’ll put down some of the stress and overwhelm, and practice skills to lighten our load going forward.

This is a three-hour morning experience designed to help you feel lighter and less burdened, and to access the joy and ease that's already in you, waiting. Using movement, nature and connection, we'll explore a science-based framework that helps you lighten the load - and discover what's possible when you do.
