Last night I made the decision to give up doing weddings and notify them as I know I can no longer do weddings. Ive married couples for 42 amazing years as a Justice of the Peace and this group has been amazing to work with, truly one of the best. Its hard to give something up that I have so loved for so long. My dad taught me how to legally join love between two people. My page A Unique Wedding by Darlene on FB allows me to see the memories of many of the most incredible couples who have honored me by choosing me as their JP. Another chapter closing, another journey to begin, and this one is a fight for my life. So thankful to God for those warriors ready to go the distance with me. ❤️

Wedding rehearsal today at the Riverhouse down in Haddam for ❤️Chelsea and Ryan❤️. This very unique couple came to me via her Dad Dave who I absolutely loved working with at my last job. This ceremony is 100% them with some very special additions. Wedding will be tomorrow evening. Marrying a couple where I know others is my favorite!!
