It's warming up! It's time to head out to the deck/Sun porch with a cool, refreshing summer cocktail. Pictured is a gin cocktail with fresh lime, rose water, simple syrup and my sweet, rose ice balls, because what's life without wimsey. Bon Appetit!

This week we will be at the Midland branch This week we'll be demonstrating recipes you would see at an old Southern Tea party, but with a bit of a modern twist. I cook so much for other people, I often end up neglecting myself. I had a couple days off and decided to cook for ME! I love fresh ingredients, especially ones in season. This dish was AMAZING! This one is going in the recipe book. Pictured:
Crimini Mushrooms with garlic, green onions and pepper bacon
Cranberry Jasmine rice
Brussel sprouts with sweet potatoes and andouille sausage

Thank you to everyone that ordered food from Finer Things Events and Catering for your Thanksgiving or family meal. I loved getting the "thank yous" from happy customers. It made a crazy few days totally worth it!
