Dear Brides,

After over 10 years of business and thousands of happy brides, it's time to say au revoir to our little company. While I'd love to continue being the fairy godmother of bridal accessories, life has taken a turn, and it's time to focus on some personal priorities.

Happily Ever Borrowed has brought so much joy and happiness to so many people, including myself, and I never thought 10 years later that I'd still be personally involved with so many brides and their weddings. I have cherished every moment of being a female entrepreneur, running my own business, and growing this baby from the ground up.

Logistically - we blocked the calendar from Nov 1st on, so you'll no longer to be able to rent for those months. For those brides who already have orders, they will still ship out for rentals as normal!

We will be selling our inventory for those brides who are interested in purchasing our gently worn products. Expect the sale to start in October and continue through the end of the month.

Lastly, to all of our vendors, designers, customers, investors and supporters over the past 10 years - THANK YOU for making this vision a reality. I wish so much it could continue for years to come, and I know that the future of bridal is still rental and sustainability...and I hope the solution from other companies comes soon! Also, you can still rent some of our products through Rent the Runway!

FOUNDER POST ♥️: Guys 2020 is taking a toll on me. On a positive note, Happily Ever Borrowed is growing more than ever. Despite COVID cancelling your weddings, you've shown up in new ways and you're renting your dream accessories for your newly scheduled and sometimes smaller weddings - and we're 100% here for you!

On a personal note - life has been really hard this year. I'm trying to stay positive & to focus on all the good things that have happened this year like buying our dream home and adopting our sweet new pup, but despite those amazing milestones, there are some personal things going on that just keep bringing me down.

So in order to help try and clear the noise and the air, I just need 1 month to try to get myself together. It's hard running a business by yourself (and working full-time in a new job) Taking a break from social media for a month I'm hoping will help me get the the clarity I need to move forward.

We'll still be filling your orders and taking new ones and being the fairy godmother of your wedding fashion dreams. But we'll just be a little silent on the social front.

I'm sharing this with you guys because I like to . Running a business is tough and if any of you are doing it and going through some tough times, I hope you can understand my need to just take a time out.
