Something I struggle with is rushing through the work // it’s a busy week and I’m grateful to be in production mode.
But even when things get hectic, I’m reminding myself to slow down and stay present with the process. That’s where the magic happens; noticing how stems move together, finding the perfect texture pairing, letting the design unfold naturally instead of forcing it.

These little moments of intention are what transform florals from ‘pretty’ to ‘unforgettable.’

More than anything, I reminisce about the smell of making this. I don’t think about how sticky my finger tips were, or how much dirt was dusting off from the roots of the strawberry vines I pulled from the garden. I don’t notice imperfections in each strawberry, only what they appear to be collectively. It’s the design process I cherish most, and the attention to detail I put into your wedding flowers, too. I know better than to assume your guests are standing around our arrangements, examining the way a certain flower has bent or unfolded. I know what it’s like to be a guest at a wedding, and not pay attention to what’s on the table. It’s all about how we collectively fit into your space, your day, and your narrative. We’re the supporting actresses of your wedding day, and assisting the bigger picture of how you and your family and friends remember the day. Scent leaves an impact, along with color and size. We’re designing movement for the eye to follow, and remember later just how “beautiful” everything looked all together — you, your sweetheart, the music, the seamless transition from ceremony to cocktail hour, the installation above the dance floor, the gel lighting that compliments it. We’re part of your collective, and honored to be part of that team.

Sure, the still life photographs taken of our floral are special in their own way - untouched, inviting, and perfectly placed. But what I’m more interested in is how we interact with each other around the floral - brushing up against each other, moving things around to make room for your friends drink. From yesterday’s mock up 🤍 What started off as a colorful tablescape, ended up peeling back to this spring inspired warmth. Deep red oncidiums with a touch of orange, white agrostemma floaties, chartreuse notes within the hellebores, and hints of fall-inspired heuchera leaves.

This is what you can expect with us: thoughtful floral design for your wedding with handmade ceramics and tableware. We’re intentional and design focused, constantly reinventing what we can offer your tablescape. We’ll help design your floral and ceramics in tandem with each other, to create a cohesive and romantic final look. Let’s talk tablescaping:

We make our floral runners by the foot, assembled in the studio before making it to your venue. This allows us time to get the bulk of the work completed and leave any last minute styling for set up!

They’re assembled in low dishes, and are able to be removed piece by piece. This allows you to have the most *amazing* room reveal before sitting down for dinner. Once cocktail hour is complete, your florist (me!) can remove any from the table that might compete with shared plates or bottles of wine.

If you’re doing plated dinner service, even better - you can leave everything where it is and let your guests dine within an immersive floral experience.
