The world needs people who can bring folks together right now. People who can nourish - feed, water and care for others. That’s what we do. It’s so intricately designed into our fabric that we truly can’t imagine what life would be like without it. And yet living within these 4 walls for the past 3.5 years doing just that has sometimes felt stifling, heavy, hard to breathe. What’s so obvious now is none of what we do in the world has anything to do with space. Because we create a container wherever we go. Ever changing containers to feel safe, relaxed, loved and cared for. In the Lovely words of one of our favorite ladies: “One space could never hold ALL your magic. So here’s to the new Nightwood Society, unencumbered by four walls, with room to stretch and grow and spread magic any damn place you choose”. Amen. So raise a glass on this glorious sunshiney Sunday and hope we meet again soon - somewhere outside... unencumbered by 4 walls.

Well friends today’s the day that we say goodbye to our community on 2218 NE Braodway that made the last 3 years so special. This chapter is coming to a close so we may make space to open up new ones. Stories not yet explored. ✨NWS Memories 2017 - 2021✨ “WCR Social” [02.25.2019] - What happens when you gather over 100 women in food and restaurants into one space? Pure joy and magic. ✨🥂

Best thing we learned that night from Cheryl Wakerhauser : "The easiest sherry cocktail in my book is a glass of inexpensive, dry sparkling wine with a splash of Amontillado or Palo Cortado on top. I call it a Poor Man's Champagne, because you get the nutty notes from the sherry that make the sparkling wine more complex with the autolytic notes of aged champagne." Now you know!
