Industrious event spaces for every occasion. With your creative vision in mind, this building is designed for eating, cooking, learning, and celebrating.

Two historic locations: The Natural Capital Center, located in the Pearl District and The Redd on Salmon Street, located on East Side of Portland, OR. Originally constructed as a warehouse in 1895, our home in Portland’s Pearl District is a landmark green building that has hosted over 500 events a year and 5 million visitors since our doors opened in 2001. The Redd is located in the SE Industrial

District, surrounded by innovative food enterprises and Redd West, a food hub advancing the footprint of regional producers. Each unique space connects seamlessly or can stand on its own. You've found the perfect place for your interactive cooking experience, rainmaking gala, or epic festival. When you host your event at the Ecotrust building or the Redd on Salmon, you are a part of creating new ways of living and doing business.

We’re excited to announce that applications are now open for the Ecotrust Events Community Grant Program!

This program supports 501c3 nonprofits and community organizations with in-kind venue space to help bring meaningful, community-centered events to life.

✨ Cycle 1: For events taking place January–June 2026 — applications open today, November 1, 2025
✨ Cycle 2: For events taking place July–December 2026 — applications open May 2026

We prioritize organizations led by and serving communities of color, working together to create spaces that celebrate equity and belonging.

Bloom was unforgettable. We were so proud to host it at The Redd last week.

This was a night full of energy, connection, and collective joy. From inspiring stories to full-sensory experiences, everyone came together to create a future where everyone has access to fresh, nourishing food.
Celebrated big wins from 2024 like free school meals, funding for native and BIPOC farmers, and more fresh fruits and veggies for communities facing hunger. We got to hear from OFB’s new President, Andrea Williams, who shared her powerful vision for what’s next.
