Just about as riverside as you can get on night two of our Rogue River adventure!⁠⠀

This camp has a big sandy beach along the water, so we can set up our kitchen and "dining room" just feet from the river. ⁠⠀

It was a hot day, so the chefs from set up their cowboy grill in the river and cooked with their toes in the water.⁠⠀

Snapshots from night one of our Rogue River adventure 💛

We kick off our four day river trip with a seafood fest overlooking the River. This is as “glamping” as it gets with freshly shucked oysters, cocktails, wine pairings and a family style feast.

We may be deep in the wild and scenic section but we’ve got long tables set with flowers, tablecloths, and nightly live music ✨

Every once in a while you have one of those rare trips that defy words or an adequate explanation. This year’s Serenade river trip was one of those experiences.

Maybe it’s my brain coming out of pandemic life, but I just don’t have the words yet!

Four days of rafting with .rafting.company paired with fiery feasts from and musical serenades from and was the perfect recipe for a magical trip.

After a year of isolation, we were all SO ready to gather and be in community with one another. Our wonderful guests made this trip possible, and it’s an honor to now call them friends. We will hold onto these memories for a long time and can’t wait to share more trips like this with all of you.

We are still processing all the magic and will be sharing lots more photos and videos soon, so stay tuned. And if you want to join us on a future river trip make sure to sign up for our newsletter for the 2022 dates!

Flame Roasted Wallow & Root Porchetta, Crispy Vegetables and Pork Gravy from our January Serenade. This Italian inspired feast featured Chef of the highly anticipated . His team slow cooked that gorgeous porchetta allll dayyyy long until it was falling apart, and my goodness was it worth the wait!!

It may be winter now, but we can’t help dreaming of warmer months and outdoor experiences to come!

We are especially excited for a new delicious, musical adventure happening in Central Oregon this July! We’re teaming up with our friends at and .wanderlost to bring you an unforgettable experience in the wild, designed to connect you with nature, food, fire, music, and adventure in new and meaningful ways.

Spend your days rafting, hiking, soaking in hot springs and exploring the lush beauty of the McKenzie River Valley. At night enjoy communal feasts, and live music in the company of new friends. This is the summer camp of our dreams and we look forward to sharing it with you soon!

Seeing a separation between their two passions—food and live music—Kaela and Austin filled the void. Merging the incredible food and music scenes of Portland, Serenade provides intimate live concerts paired with communal meals to foster community and connections amongst their guests. Serenade your senses with local wine, three-part harmonies and by digging into a meal. This is a place to get your hands dirty, interact with friends, experience a new band and create lasting memories.

Kaela Fox grew up rafting rivers and eating outdoors in the company of friends and family. Instruments were a staple on river trips and her earliest memories involve eagerly stuffing herself to the sounds of a jam session. That passion for food has followed her whether cooking for 30 on multi-day river trips, catering private events, or simply creating with the items grown in her garden.

Austin Quattlebaum grew up in his father's restaurant, sneaking handfuls of french fries and sodas. The son of a Savannah, GA restaurateur, Austin is no stranger to kitchen life and feeding the masses. On the West Coast he found music, building a successful band and a solo career for himself.

Together they make Serenade.
