Most people start with flowers, colors, and tables.

I start with a different question.

How do you want this moment to feel?

Because years from now, you won’t remember every centerpiece or every place setting. You’ll remember how you felt as you walked toward the people you love. You’ll remember the way the room welcomed your guests. You’ll remember the feeling of being fully present because someone else was quietly holding everything together.

That is where every celebration begins for me.

The design simply becomes the language that tells your story.

We spent a day on Lake Como with this beautiful couple, Francesca and Sebastian, creating a lifestyle editorial aboard a sailboat.

The forecast called for storms, so we moved our timeline up by nearly 2 hours to make sure everything could happen before the weather changed. Planning around uncertainty is often part of the process.

Instead, we were met with some of the calmest, softest weather we could have hoped for. The lake felt still, the energy was light, and the entire day unfolded with an ease you can’t really plan for.

A reminder that sometimes the most beautiful moments happen somewhere between preparation and letting go.
