Published again, 13 years later.
In 2013 I wrote “Exposing a Clown in Four Questions,” an attempt to identify a clown by what they actually do: play, fail, teach through mischief, entertain, educate, ease suffering—and sometimes require professional assistance.
Planet HarleXine, the Moira Press collective zine, has brought the piece back into print for its Jupiter in Leo issue.
The strange part is the ending. In 2013 I called on clowns to work together as mentors and mentees. In 2026, I've been teaching monthly with the Astrologer Clowns, and that work has now begun producing individual clown mentorships.
Apparently I left myself instructions 13 years ago.
