Join Le***an Cinema Club for a night of Shu Lea Cheang films, featuring Fresh Kill (1996) along with short films. A special zine and merch will be on sale in advance of the screening.

Shu Lea Cheang is an artist, conceptualist, filmmaker, and networker who has worked in the field of net-based installation, social interface, networked performance, and film production. Her work traverses between hard and soft, s*x and politics, fiction and reality, fantasia and earth-bound.

We’re excited to team up with MUBI for this screening of Eleanor Coppola’s Making Marie Antoinette, a lush, intimate documentary about Sofia Coppola creating Marie Antoinette. The mother-daughter duo began creating this documentary at the beginning of the COVID lockdown, and Sofia finished the film after her mother passed in 2024.

Free event! Join us for A Voice of Her Own / Una Voz Propia, an evening of music, storytelling, and film celebrating the cultures, stories, and extraordinary talents that immigrants bring to our state and our communities—and standing with them when they need our support most.

The evening will feature live music and storytelling by Gemanereida Barragán-Cruz—Mariachi Singer & Storyteller, and culminate in the world premiere of a new 15-minute documentary about her extraordinary artistic journey and the power of her voice.

More than a film screening, this is an evening to gather in community, experience music and stories live, and celebrate Gemanereida and the many ways immigrant artists enrich the cultural life of our community.

This event is hosted by The Immigrant Story & NW Documentary.

UNION COUNTY stars Will Poulter and Noah Centineo alongside a cast of non-actors from central Ohio. Set in the shadow of the opioid epidemic, this hopeful drama follows two brothers navigating court-mandated recovery, and the community that helps them imagine a different future.

Ohio-born filmmaker Adam Meeks drew inspiration from the real-life recovery community he met in his hometown, which was full of people healing and getting their lives back. Some of them were cast in the film, and the result is an intimate, compassionate portrait of people rebuilding their lives and finding solidarity and hope in the aftermath of a devastating drug crisis.
