Next week, join us at the PAM CUT Tomorrow Theater for an evening of film and conversation with internationally acclaimed, multidisciplinary artist, Mickalene Thomas.

Renowned for her embellished, rhinestone-studded paintings and exploration of Black womanhood, love, desire, and celebration, Thomas brings a singular voice to contemporary art.

The evening will feature a special screening of her short documentary, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN, a deeply personal portrait of her mother and muse, Sandra Bush.

The artist’s work will be included in a new exhibition opening the same day: “Global Icons, Local Spotlight: Contemporary Art from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer.”
