It’s been a very busy season, but it’s time to slow down a little and enjoy looking back on this beautiful summer of love - starting with Bree and Tom! This was the hottest wedding of the year - literally, but thankfully provides safe places to cool down.

The joining of these beautiful people was so fun and sweet. While we worked on a very condensed timeline I still got to know these two well, it was an honor to meet such lovely humans who clearly bring joy to so many people’s world every day. 🩷🌻

This week we had the pleasure of being part of Mira and Adi’s three days of celebration of marriage. It is wonderful to see the outpouring of love and celebration from loved ones gathered from all over near and far. From the Mehndi and Haldi, as well as a tea ceremony Friday, to Saturday’s ceremony and fun at Villa Catalana complete with choreographed dances to Sundays traditional ceremony at The Portland HECSA Balaji Temple with the best luncheon to follow.
None of this would have been possible without the outpouring of support from their dedicated and wonderful family and friends and the best vendor team.

As usual. I took very few pictures because that’s not my job - I am the worst at it - but I did want to share a few.

I am so excited to announce that we are officially Washington State licensed to provide services and flowers to customers getting married in Washington now, too! We still reside and are based in Portland, we just have plans to be fully functional and operating up and down the entire West Coast. 8 years committed to Oregon as our market has been awesome, and we’re ready to offer our services to even more couples!

Our Director, Sadie McIntyre, is a certified professional wedding planner who began planning weddings in San Diego, CA in 1999, and has experience planning non-profit, political campaign events, and weddings here in Portland, OR, over the past 16 years. She decided to start Vareus Events in 2017 to bring her wealth of experience to the Portland couples who are looking for a partner to help them plan their wedding.
